Jesus Wants Dangerous Men

I spent many years as a believer in Jesus but not a follower.  I was not a danger to the enemies of the Kingdom of God.  My goal now is to help learn to be warriors for Him — to be dangerous men. I want to help teach you how to fight in the spiritual realm for spiritual results. I want you to be effective in bringing the Good News about Jesus to the world around you, your friends and the people you work or go to school with and see every day. Things will be messy and not always easy but Jesus wins the battle for our minds and for the minds of the people around us.

I have seen so many believers get taken out when they start sharing the Good News to their friends, when they go into some type of ministry or when they step out and start trying to be obedient to Jesus. Many are taken out by sexual sins. Sexual sins either stop us from entering into the fight or take us out during the fight. The principles in this book will help you learn to get free from sexual bondage and thereby become a very dangerous man for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

“From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it”

(Matthew 11:12 NIV)

2. Lessons

There are 8 lessons in the book and the Steps to Freedom in Christ at the end.

Each lesson builds on the one before it. 2 hours per lesson is best.

3. Coaching Guide

The Coaching Guide is meant to remind you and guide you through each lesson.

Read it days before the lesson so you can be prepared. It gives you ideas, alternative videos and songs you might want to use, and reminders as to what to pray for.

4. Videos

The videos are designed to be played before each chapter lesson.

The videos are of college students talking about what they learned from the current lesson after they went through it. The honesty of the guys in the videos raise the bar in your group and makes it easier for them to be vulnerable.

5. Steps to Freedom in Christ

The Steps is a spiritual and moral inventory of your life written by Neil T. Anderson.

The Dangerous Men book is the information and the Steps is the power to live out the information.

We have found that if you do this on a weekend retreat it works the best. It allows men to focus on what the Holy Spirit is saying to them and not be distracted.

There will be a lot of spiritual interference in guys minds as to why NOT to do the Steps. Educate them about it so they can take those thoughts captive. The Steps also is a tools that the Holy Spirit uses to break the bondage and lies we believe. It is an exercise in speaking truth to lies.

It takes about 6-8 hours to go through the Steps. This is why the weekend retreat works well but you can also do it weekly in your continued meetings.

Because the Steps is so powerful we want to support you and your group finishing them. Sometimes we are available to come to your location and lead the Steps retreat.

Sexual Integrity is Important

“God wants you to be holy, so you should keep clear of all sexual sin. Then each of you will control your body and live in holiness and honor — not in lustful passion as the pagans do, in their ignorance of God and his ways. … God has called us to be holy, not to live impure lives. Anyone who refuses to live by these rules is not disobeying human rules but is rejecting God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you”

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, 7-8 NLT
